Day 1 : Petra

Arrive into Amman
Begin your ‘Jordan with Israel’ Tour
Visit to Mt. Nebo
Welcome to Amman. On arrival, you will be met by our local representative. After freshening at the airport, we proceed to Mt. Nebo (site only as the church is closed down for renovation) a city mentioned in the bible as the place where Moses was granted a view of the promised. Its over 700m above the Jordan Valley and offers spectacular views of the Promised Land as seen by Moses. Next, we drive to Petra, one of the 7 wonders of the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 2 : Petra

Day Trip to Wadi Rum with Jeep and Camel Ride
Today, we proceed on a day trip to visit Wadi Rum. Explore Wadi Rum on a 4×4 jeep ride into the Jordanian desert! Wadi Rum was best described by T.E. Lawrence as “Vast, echoing and god-like”, and by the locals as “Valley of the Moon”. Also enjoy a camel ride in the desert. (The Wadi Rum visit is subject to weather conditions and visit may be cancelled due to flash floods warnings and closure of the site by local authorities at short notice). Later, we drive back to Petra.

Day 3 : Amman

Guided Walking City Tour of Petra
Onto Amman
Today, we check out of our hotel and proceed on a guided walking city tour of Petra. Enter the city through 1km long narrow gorge which is flanked either side by 80m high cliffs! Notice the dazzling colors and formations of the rocks. The site is massive, and contains hundreds of elaborated rock-cut tombs, a treasury, Roman-style theatres, temples, sacrificial altars and colonnaded streets. Petra is half-built, half-carved into the rock, and is surrounded by mountains riddled with passages and gorges. It is one of the world’s most famous archaeological sites, where ancient Eastern traditions blend with Hellenistic architecture. Next, we drive to Amman.

Day 4 : Tel Aviv

Drive to Tel Aviv
Guided City Tour of Tel Aviv
Today we check-out of your hotel & get set for a scenic drive to Tel Aviv , the capital city of Israel via Sheikh Hussein / Allenby bridge. On arrival at Allenby Bridge, meet your guide and drive to Tel Aviv. Arrive at the old port of Jaffa, from where Jonah set sail and see the restored artists quarter and bustling flea market. Tel-Aviv is Israel’s cultural and commercial capital and center of night life. It’s a city on Israel’s Mediterranean coast, is marked by its stark 1930s Bauhaus buildings, thousands of which are clustered in the White City architectural area. The city is also known for its accessible beaches and vibrant nightlife ranging from Lilienblum Street’s lounges to Dizengoff Street’s open-air cafes. Tel Aviv Port’s waterfront promenade is lined with shops and restaurants.

Day 5 : Tiberius

Drive to Caesarea
Guided City Tour of Nazareth
Visit Sea of Galilee
Today, we depart Tel Aviv and drive along the coastal road to visit Caesarea, built by King Herod and once the capital of Judea. Visit the huge amphitheater. Drive via Haifa and take a photo with the beautiful Bah’ai gardens in the background. Next, we proceed to Nazareth where Mary was told by the Angel Gabriel that she would conceive a son and boyhood home of Jesus. Visit the Church of Annunciation. Later, arrive at the Sea of Galilee for a boat ride.

Day 6 : Jerusalem

Drive to Jerusalem
Visit the Dead Sea
Today, we check out and visit Capernaum, home of St Peter and center of Jesus’s preaching. Also, visit the 5th century synagogue. Visit Qumran caves where the Dead Sea scrolls were found by a nomadic shepherd. Continue via the Jordan River (where Jesus was baptized by St.John the Baptist), passing Jericho, to the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea. Time to enjoy and swim in the mineral rich therapeutic water of the Dead Sea. Ascend the Judean hills to Jerusalem.

Day 7 : Jerusalem

Visit YadVashem
Guided City Tour of Jerusalem
Today, we proceed to visit YadVashem. It is the Jewish people’s living memorial to the Holocaust. Walk along the Avenue of the Righteous and visit the museum complex.
Next, we ascend to Mt Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem & Bethlehem. Cross the Kidron Valley and enter the Old City. See the Temple Mt and visit the Western Wall. Walk in the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the place where Jesus was crucified. Later, drive to Bethlehem, see the Manger Square and visit the Church of Nativity, where Jesus was born.

Day 8 : Amman

Onto Amman

Guided City Tour of Amman
Today, we depart from Israel, complete the border formalities and drive to Amman. On arrival, we proceed to visit the ancient Greco-Roman city of Jerash, including the paved and colonnaded streets, soaring hilltop temples, theatres, spacious public squares and plazas, baths, fountains and the city walls. Later, we return to Amman and start our guided city tour, visiting sites and museums including the Archeological Museum, the Folklore Museum, The citadel, and the Amphitheatre. Everywhere you look there is evidence of the city’s much older past. The Royal Automobile Museum is one of the most interesting and well organized Museums in Jordan. The museum depicts the history of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan from the early 1920s until today through cars & motorcycles. Enjoy a wide range of vintage and limited edition cars from Aston Martins, Mercedes Benz, Phantom, Lincolns, Cadillacs as well as some beautiful old motorcycles.

Day 9 : Departure

Today, we drive you to the airport for your flight back home. It’s time to say goodbye to all the new friends you have made. We hope you take back many happy memories of your holiday. 1) Petra is a famous archaeological site in Jordan’s southwestern desert. Dating to around 300 B.C., it was the capital of the Nabatean Kingdom. Accessed via a narrow canyon called Al Siq, it contains tombs and temples carved into pink sandstone cliffs, earning its nickname, the “Rose City." Perhaps its most famous structure is 45m-high Al Khazneh, a temple with an ornate, Greek-style facade, and known as The Treasury.

2) Amman, the capital of Jordan, is a modern city with numerous ancient ruins. Atop Jabal al-Qala’a hill, the historic Citadel includes the pillars of the Roman Temple of Hercules and the 8th-century Umayyad Palace complex, known for its grand dome. Built into a different downtown hillside, the Roman Theater is a 6,000-capacity, 2nd-century stone amphitheater offering occasional events.

3) Tel Aviv, a city on Israel’s Mediterranean coast, is marked by stark 1930s Bauhaus buildings, thousands of which are clustered in the White City architectural area. Museums include Beit Hatfutsot, whose multimedia exhibits illustrate the history of Jewish communities worldwide. The Eretz Israel Museum covers the country’s archaeology, folklore and crafts, and features an on-site excavation of 12th-century-B.C. ruins.

4) Tiberius was Roman emperor from 14 AD to 37 AD. Born Tiberius Claudius Nero, a Claudian, Tiberius was the son of Tiberius Claudius Nero and Livia Drusilla.

5) Jerusalem, a Middle Eastern city west of the Dead Sea, has been a place of pilgrimage and worship for Jews, Christians and Muslims since the biblical era. Its Old City has significant religious sites around the Temple Mount compound, including the Western Wall (sacred to Judaism), the Church of the Holy Sepulchre (a Christian pilgrimage site) and the Dome of the Rock (a 7th-century Islamic shrine with a gold dome).
